Kylie Jenner Contours Her Ears and You Should Too

As I was pursuing kyliejenner.com on my phone this morning (don't judge), I noticed something interesting about hermost recent tutorial. Right in the middle of the vid, makeup artist Hrush Achemyan casually reveals that she contours Kylie's ears. Say what?! Yep, after contouring her cheeks and nose as usual, Achemyan then applies makeup to Kylie's ears with a concealer brush.
Don't worry, Kylie thinks it's just as funny as you do. She giggles her way through the whole thing telling Achemyan, "I like when you do my ears." Sounds to us like ear contouring has been a part of Kylie's makeup routine for a while now… why didn't she tell us this sooner?!
To get some more info about ear makeup, I hit up makeup artist Amanda Bell, who's the global brand ambassador for the beauty brand Pixi. According to Bell, using makeup on your ears is definitely not as crazy or outlandish as you'd think. Not only will it ensure that your ears match your face, as Achemyan explains in the vid, but it will also keep your skin looking flawless during stressful situations (note to self, contour ears before next date).
"When emotions are running high, not only can your cheeks flush, but a rush of blood can reach the ears making them appear florid," she explained. "Using a little Pixi H20 SkinTint ($24; target.com) will ensure that ears stay a shade that is in alignment with your overall skin tone. It's something that takes seconds and can be applied with clean fingers or concealer brush. If you feel that you need to set the tint on your ears, use a small application of translucent powder for a flawless finish."

And if you want to give your ears even more TLC, make sure to cleanse and moisturize them just as you would your face. This will keep them smooth and hydrated. Ya heard?
